Spring 2025 Clubhouse Recap: Storms, Sun, and 126 Reasons to Smile
This spring, KLH Group hit a milestone that’s got us all a little emotional (in the best way). With 19 Clubhouse Builds wrapped this season, we’ve officially completed 126 custom Clubhouses over the last 10 years—and we have exactly zero regrets.
When We Say “Impact,” We Mean It
We didn’t just build structures—we built memories, moments, and legacies. This spring wasn’t just big. It was record-breaking. Our teams rolled up their sleeves, braved sudden downpours (more on that in a sec), and brought their A-game to every site—from the heart of downtown Charleston to the top of a mountain in Georgia.
Top of the World: Cloudland Resort
Let’s talk about Cloudland. Picture this: a build site perched on a mountain with panoramic views—and a surprise pop-up storm just as the last walls were going up. Wind. Rain. Swirling chaos. You’d think the crew would run for cover, but no. These brave builders laughed, powered through, and finished that Clubhouse like champs. Minutes later? Sun’s out, storm’s gone, and Lincoln, our incredible warrior, is living it up in a heated pool and hot tub with his family. Just your average day on the mountain.
And all thanks to our incredible hosts, The Beyond Collection…a collection of industry professionals whose excellence is only surpassed by their vision for embracing others.
Full Circle at Hotel Bennett
Then there was Trenton’s family. If you know our story, you know Trenton was the first recipient of a Clubhouse Build—larger than life, full of joy, and a bright light for everyone who met him. This spring, we had the honor of gifting his family and building an updated Clubhouse in downtown Charleston at the beautiful Hotel Bennett, right in Marion Square.
It was a full-circle moment. There wasn’t a dry eye in the square. Trenton may no longer be with us, but his legacy lives on—in every Clubhouse we build, and every life we touch.
Lots of Love from the Lowcountry: Lowndes Grove, The Sanctuary & The Dunlin
We had some seriously special build days this spring, but a few stood out with that wow, is this real life? kind of energy.
At Lowndes Grove, we built for some amazing warriors who showed up ready to play—and play they did. Between the bounce house bounces, water gun battles, and helping hands on the Clubhouse walls, those kids made the day unforgettable. By sunset, we were soaking it all in with a bluegrass band playing by the river and dinner under the Lowcountry sky. Honestly? Kinda magical.
Then came our build at The Sanctuary at Kiawah Island, and it was a day packed with purpose, joy, and so much heart. The grand lawn was buzzing with games, laughter, and families soaking up the sunshine. One especially powerful moment? A group of children with special needs coming together to build a Clubhouse with their families—talk about impact. Watching them work side-by-side, sharing tools, high-fives, and giggles—it was everything we stand for, all in one afternoon.
The hospitality was outstanding, the setting was stunning (seriously, the views are next level), but it was the families and their stories that made the day unforgettable.
And over at The Dunlin on Johns Island, we kept the magic going with a series of Clubhouse Builds™ along the serene Kiawah River. Gorgeous views, yes—but even better were the connections made between our builders and the families. Each Clubhouse felt like it was made to be there, and every smile reminded us just how meaningful this work is.
Ten Years. 126 Clubhouses. One Mission.
We’re beyond proud of what we’ve built—literally and figuratively. These Clubhouses represent joy, healing, and love. Every single one is handcrafted with care, powered by generous hearts, and made for a child who deserves the world.
Here’s to ten years of building magic. To the 126 Clubhouses behind us and the many more ahead. To every child, every partner, and every volunteer who made this spring unforgettable: thank you. You’re part of something real.
